The prestigious international scientific conference FEBST 2025 entitled “Economic Policies, Business Perspectives, and Sustainability Transformation” took place from 21to 23 May in Brela (Croatia). The importance and prestige of the conference was recognised by 237 participants from 29 countries around the world. Croatian President Zoran Milanović opened the conference, and discussions on global and regional challenges were held in plenary sessions, interactive panels and workshops.

Ivana Domazet, a member of the DI-MARC team as well as the FEBST 2025 Conference Programme Committee, was one of the moderators and discussants of the session “Meet the editors”, where she presented the most important information about the journal Women’s Entrepreneurship and Education. The journal Women’s Entrepreneurship and Education publishes articles in the field of entrepreneurship and education. The scientific focus of this journal is highly compatible with the research results of the DI-MARC project, which were also presented at the FEBST conference. DI-MARC team member Milena Lazić presented a paper entitled “Motivations and Barriers for Persons with Physical Disabilities in Accessing Platform Work in SEE”, in which the barriers and work motivations of people with physical disabilities in relation to platform work were analyzed. The results presented of the DI-MARC project were met with great interest by the participants of the FEBST conference, confirming once again the importance of inclusion in broad-based scientific research. We believe that our researchers have laid a strong foundation for the further strengthening of regional co-operation and the continued successful inter-institutional exchange of knowledge and experience.
