A delegation from the Committee on European Affairs of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland was on an official visit to the Municipality of Kotor, as part of the ongoing bilateral cooperation between Poland and Montenegro. The visit focused on exchanging experiences related to the EU integration process, with particular emphasis on challenges and best practices in implementing reforms necessary for EU accession.
During the meeting, Milica Tomović, member of the DI-MARC project team, presented the project’s key activities and emphasised the importance of leveraging EU funding—particularly the Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI) Fund—which enables the implementation of initiatives tailored to the concrete needs of local communities.
DI-MARC project was highlighted as a good practice example of inclusive action and community-based interventions that foster social cohesion and empower vulnerable groups—especially persons with physical disabilities—by strengthening their digital skills and preparing them for remote work through digital platforms.
Participants also discussed the role of local authorities in accessing EU funds, as well as opportunities to enhance cooperation in areas of shared interest, such as tourism, cultural heritage preservation, and sustainable development.
