The awarding of certificates to training participants in Serbia successfully marked the completion of the first training cycle within the DI-MARC project, “Empowering Persons with Physical Disabilities for Remote Work through Enhanced Digital Marketing Competencies”. The project is funded by the European Social Fund Plus, Employment, and Social Innovation Component.
Vladimir Simović, DI-MARC project manager from the Institute of Economic Sciences, expressed his gratitude to all participants for their dedication and effort throughout the training sessions. He emphasized that their engagement represents a significant step toward advancing inclusive educational initiatives. He also announced the development of comprehensive materials for online training, scheduled to take place in 2025. These activities aim to further support persons with physical disabilities in acquiring skills necessary for remote work and empowering them in the digital environment.
The certificates were presented to the participants by Ivana Domazet, a project team member from the Institute of Economic Sciences, Gordana Pušara, President of the Belgrade Association of Persons with Disabilities, and Branko Radan, Deputy Director of the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade. The ceremony highlighted an important milestone in empowering persons with disabilities for remote work and entrepreneurial skill development.
The DI-MARC project has enabled participants to gain practical and applicable skills that can be immediately utilized in their professional lives. This initiative has facilitated their entry into the labor market and supported them in launching their own online businesses.
During the training sessions covering digital marketing strategy, social media marketing, and content marketing, participants acquired both theoretical and practical knowledge. These skills empower them to develop and implement digital marketing strategies and efficiently manage online businesses. The training placed particular focus on tools and platforms for market analysis, content creation, and audience engagement strategies on social media. Participants mastered techniques for effective communication with target audiences and enhancing the visibility of their products and services online.
