“DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGY” – Montenegro

The Association of Youth with Disabilities of Montenegro (AYDM) in cooperation with the Municipality of Kotor and the company MAMM DOO from Nikšić, in the period from October 14 to 18, 2024, at the Aurel Hotel, organized the first of three training modules on topic Digital Marketing Strategy. The training was attended by 25 people with physical disabilities from Podgorica, Nikšić, Bar and Bijelo Polje, and its aim was to improve their digital skills and competencies, in order to become more competitive and visible on the labor market, primarily on remote work platforms and wider. After this module, participants will continue with training in the field of Marketing on Social Networks and Content Marketing.

People with physical disabilities had the opportunity to learn about the creation of a digital marketing strategy, understand the importance of branding and how to create and maintain a consistent and recognizable brand through various digital channels. They acquired the skills of managing social networks, creating content and managing communication with followers. They also developed skills in using analytical tools to monitor and measure the success of digital campaigns. They learned how to interpret data and use it to make informed decisions and optimize strategies.

The trainer at the training was Anđela Đokić, a long-time educator in the field of digital marketing for small and medium-sized businesses and director of the MAMM company from Nikšić. “It was a pleasure to work with a room full of young, motivated, very intelligent and proactive people, who I am sure will show their ideas and talent to the market after completing all three training modules that we designed as part of the DI-MARC project. ”, said coach Anđela Đokić.

On behalf of the Institute of Economic Sciences from Belgrade, the project holder, Ivana Domazet, a member of the project team, addressed the participants and stated that the DI MARC project is focused on improving the digital competencies of people with disabilities and specifically for digital marketing. She stated that platform work includes over 70% of announcements for jobs in the field of digital marketing. In this way, it is estimated that more than half of our participants will significantly improve their competencies in the field of digital marketing and increase their employability on the labor market.

The participants stated that the aforementioned training enabled them to acquire not only technical skills, but also the confidence to embark on new projects. They feel competent and ready for all the challenges that digital marketing brings. Through the training, they developed critical thinking, learned how to interpret data, and got the opportunity to practically apply the acquired knowledge in real situations.

After this module, participants will continue with training in the field of Marketing on Social Networks and Content Marketing.

This activity is part of the project Empowering persons with physical disabilities for remote work through the improvement of digital marketing competencies (Digital Marketing Capacity Building – Empowering Persons with Physical Disabilities for Remote Work – DI MARC) implemented by UMHCG, in cooperation with the coordinator and project holder, the Institute of economic sciences from Belgrade, and partners consisting of institutions, companies and non-governmental organizations from Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro, with the financial support of the European Commission.
