“SOCIAL NETWORK MARKETING” – Montenegro

The second training module within the DI-MARC project, entitled Social Network Marketing, was implemented in the period from November 4th to 6th in the Science and Technology Park in Podgorica.

After acquiring knowledge and skills from Digital Marketing Strategy, which was the topic of the first module, our 25 participants had the opportunity to upgrade their knowledge. Topics such as the definition and importance of marketing on social networks, as well as increasing the visibility and recognition of the brand through global connectivity, were discussed and practically demonstrated with the participants. They were shown and defined the development of a strategy on social networks, as well as how important it is to plan, adapt and monitor content, what types of content exist according to different social networks, how optimization is done, which tools will help them in this.

All three training days are complemented by good practice examples, as well as personal experiences of the participants, which contributes to a deeper assimilation of the theory.

The trainer at the training was Anđela Đokić, a long-time educator in the field of digital marketing for small and medium-sized businesses and director of the company MAMM from Nikšić, who is one of the representatives of the Montenegrin team on the DI-MARC project.

Project partner the Association of Youth with Disabilities of Montenegro (AYDM) gathered 25 members who, as in module 1, devotedly followed the lectures and interactively participated in the discussion on the given topic.

On behalf of the Municipality of Kotor as a project partner, Milica Tomović welcomed the participants and associates, and wished the participants to apply the improvement of their skills and knowledge in the field of digital marketing in the best possible way, because through this kind of training they can market themselves much better and easier on the online job market.

In continuation of the joint work, we are expecting the implementation of another training module called Content Marketing, which will allow 25 people with physical disabilities from Podgorica, Nikšić, Bar, Bijelo Polje and Petnjica to enrich their knowledge, technical skills, and confidence to apply for new business opportunities and projects.

Activity is part of the project Empowering Persons with Physical Disabilities for Remote Work through the Improvement of Digital Marketing Competencies (Digital Marketing Capacity Building – Empowering Persons with Physical Disabilities for Remote Work – DI MARC) whose coordinator and holder is the Institute of Economic Sciences from Belgrade, and the partners are institutions, companies and non-governmental organizations from Montenegro, Serbia and Croatia.
